Career and money coaching for working adults living paycheck to paycheck

Career & financial coaching

I’m Greg Ford, a finance and career coach for working class people who never caught a break. I work with every day American people who are tired of being lectured about money and told to “just change careers” by people who have never worked a double shift.

If you work, pay your bills, and still feel like the numbers don’t work this is for you. Sometimes the math does not work because the paycheck is too small, not because you are bad with money. We look at what is really coming in, what is going out, and what can change — from tightening up bills to finding a realistic path into better-paying work without pretending you have money or time you do not.

Pay-Check-to-Pay-Check Finance and Career Coaching

What I do is simple, but it has two parts:

1. Money coaching. You bring your pay stubs, your bills, and your worries about money. I bring time, attention, and a clear head. We put the numbers in one place and figure out what can change without pretending you have extra money or extra hours that do not exist.

2. Career coaching. You also bring your job story — what you do now, what is wearing you down, and what you wish were different. We look at your options for staying where you are but earning more, or shifting into short, no-degree paths that pay better and are actually realistic for your life.I do not manage investments. I do not sell products. I am not here to tell you to quit your job tomorrow and go back to school full time. I also do not tell you that everything is your fault. Most of the people I work with are doing the best they can in a system that makes that hard.

People call this kind of work financial and career coaching because it is one person sitting with you, helping you make sense of your money, your job options, and your next steps. That is as far as it goes. No hype. No performance. Just you, your situation, and someone who will not panic when you open your bank app or admit you cannot keep doing the work you are doing now.

Most people come to me when they want help with things like:

  • Seeing clearly where their paycheck is actually going
  • Covering bills when there is not much left and avoiding constant surprises
  • Figuring out what kind of job, raise, or short training could give them a bit more breathing room
  • Sorting through realistic paths out of physically demanding work into something more sustainable
  • Having someone to check in with so both money and career plans do not get ignored until it is a crisis again

Some people only need one conversation. Some want more support over a few months. For those people, I also offer a 5-session package so we can keep working through money and career decisions together instead of trying to fix it all in one call.

Help For Average Americans

This is for people with jobs, bills, and not much room for error. People who are working full time, trying to stay afloat, and tired of money and career advice that assumes they can quit work, move back in with their parents, or drop thousands on school.

  • People living paycheck to paycheck
  • People working full time and still feeling behind
  • People trying to get more stable before they try to “build wealth”
  • People looking for a better job path without a college degree
  • People whose bodies are wearing out from manual work and need a realistic exit plan
